Today’s Lesson: Protect Your Home In The Summer!
Summer is almost here. It’s a favorite time of the year for many!
More Sunshine, Vacations, & Barbeques will fill our calendars at this time of the year.
It’s also a time when our electric bills go through the roof… right?
So, in order to save a little money on electricity, many of you will opt for opening the windows at home to catch the evening breeze. And, unfortunately, many of you will forget to close & lock those windows!
Did you know…
Summer time is PRIME TIME for residential burglars!! They consider this their “busy season” ( along with the Christmas holiday) And they’re relying on YOU to leave those windows open when you’re sleeping or away from your house.
Unfortunately… they have many targets to choose from every year.
It’s amazing how many victims of burglaries discover the BG (bad guy) came through the “open window” or the “unlocked sliding door”.
Don’t make it easy for a thief to target your home!
Remember:
Lock your doors & windows – especially at night… & especially during the summer!
Just this one simple reminder will save you from a “nightmare” situation.
Besides…not only will it protect you & your family from becoming a victim… but you’ll force the BGs to actually consider getting a real job. (Maybe?… well… ok… I doubt it… but you never know! )
