Mysterious Piece of Metal That Protects Your Registration Tags
TODAY’S LESSON: Protect your vehicle registration tags!
Ok folks…I don’t know about you , but I hate paying my vehicle registration fees. Especially when the cost just went UP!
I just received my 2009 registration tags… and when I put them on my car, it reminded me of how vunerable they are to getting swiped.
Yep… it’s true… there are plenty of thieves roaming the parking lots and residential neighborhoods of America looking for just the right vehicle to steal the tags from a license plate.
Will your car be one of them?
Not if you read today’s lesson about a simple piece of metal that will virtually eliminate the risk of losing your tags… forever! What’s the mysterious piece of metal, you ask? It’s small… it’s shiny… and it’s sharp!
It’s a Razor Blade!
Here’s how to protect your tags:
Place the tag on your license plate.
Then simply take a razor blade and slice the tag in the pattern shown by the red lines in the photo. (It won’t damage the tag.)
That’s it! You’re done.
Now if someone wants to swipe your tags, they’re going to have to peel off every piece of that “tag pie” … and it’s going to take a loooooong time.
Most thieves don’t have the time or patience to mess with a “tag pie”. They’ll just find one that isn’t sliced and take it, instead.
Not only will you protect your tags, you won’t give Law Enforcement a reason to pull you over. (missing tags)
Now… go slice your tags. You’ll be glad you did!
Class dismissed!
