Password Protection…In A Flash!
Are you tired of writing down all your passwords on a piece of paper that you keep next to your computer?
I have to confess, I was guilty of doing this for much longer than I’d like to admit. I just grabbed the closest thing I could write on and somehow it became my “password sheet” for the next few months. Pretty dumb if you think about it.
I finally used my noggin and came up with a great way to protect all my passwords.
Here’s a simple way to securely store thousands of passwords and user names…Buy a $10.00 flash drive that has password protection built into the installation software. Sync your flash drive with your computer and set-up a secure password for the flash drive. Then, simply put all of your passwords and corresponding user names on the flash drive.
Now all you’ll need to remember is one password…the rest of them will be on the drive when you need them again.
Pretty simple, huh? (Why didn’t you think of that?)
Just one warning though… Don’t lose that flash drive!!
Put a lanyard on it or a cheap chain so you won’t mis-place it at home or work. (I’ve washed mine twice… and it still works like a charm!)
Class dismissed.

Great gift idea for Valentine’s day or Mother’s day too!
Great idea! I especially like how you won’t lose the passwords if you computer crashes.
