In Case of Emergency (ICE)

This is a well-known but nifty little Safety Tip:

In the event of an emergency, First Responders and Paramedics will frequently turn to a victim’s cellphone to learn more about their identity or track down a family member.

You can make their job so much easier with a simple idea that they are trying to get everyone to adopt: ICE stands for In Case of Emergency.

If you add an entry in the contacts list, in your phone or mobile device, with the name and phone number of the person who emergency services can call on your behalf, you can save a lot of time and have your loved ones contacted quickly.

First Responders know what ICE means and they look for it immediately.

It only takes a few moments of your time.

ICE your phone right now…

Hello? … Can you do it now? Please? Thanks!

Be Safe!
