Ms. “Singapoor” Exposed

singapore

Her name is Ris Low… and she’s asking for forgiveness. Barely 60 days before being crowned Ms. World Singapore, Low was placed on probation  for 2 years for using stolen credit cards and allegedly running up a huge bill ($8,000) worth of goods… including jewelry, lingerie, and lavish meals.

Perhaps she’s sorry for committing this selfish crime… but she also has been quoted as saying, “Stealing gives her a sense of satisfaction!” Hmmmmm?

Maybe this is a dumb question… but don’t they conduct background checks on the contestants?

I betcha’ the biggest steak in Texas they do a very thorough check on her replacement!

Hats off to the organization that took away her title and accepted her resignation. My wife , a former Beauty Queen herself, has said,” Integrity is defined as what happens when nobody is looking.”

Sorry Ms. Low… you failed the integrity test!

Bummer for Low… that sure is a good-looking crown! :)

Was Annie Le a Victim Of Rat Rage?

By professor · Thursday, September 24th, 2009 · 2 Comments »

AnnieLEAnnie Le’s body is back home in California. The 24 yr. old “Shining Star” was laid to rest last week after a tragic ending to her promising life.

It seems the murder suspect isn’t talking… so the motive of this senseless crime is still unknown. However, many witnesses have come forward to provide an opinion on Raymond Clark. I will not give an opinion here because I don’t know all the facts… but I do know that Rat Rage has been a possible motive for Clark’s actions.

I don’t know if the term “Rat Rage” is a valid description of what happened… but hopefully… if Clark is convicted, he’ll have a cage of his own to clean up for a long, long , time!

God Bless You Annie!

Missing Yale Student…What Happened to Annie Le?

Today’s Lesson: Crime on Campus!

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Annie Le…who has been missing for nearly 5 days. Le, 24, was last seen Tuesday morning in the five-story building that housed the laboratory where she worked. Surveillance video shows her arriving around 10 a.m., but police had been baffled since the investigation began because there was no video of Le leaving, despite some 75 surveillance cameras State police5 p.m. Police found a body Sunday in an area of the building that houses utility cables that run between floors. They are presuming it is Le who was found. operating around the complex. Her ID, money, credit cards and purse were found in her office.

Le was due to marry her fiance on Sunday (today). He is not a suspect in what Police are calling a homicide investigation.

It appears too early to know what happened to Le…or even what the motive could have been?

Let’s hope they find a suspect and make an arrest…

Be safe!

Texas Man Tasered…boy, did he deserve it!

By professor · Thursday, August 20th, 2009 · 1 Comment »

Today’s Lesson: Bad Guy meets the TASER!

Police in Michigan say a man resisted arrest and used his 5-month-old niece as a shield — threatening to break her neck — before he was Tasered.

Authorities in Bay County’s Monitor Township say 26-year-old Jose Garcia of Edcouch, Texas, was sitting in a vehicle and holding the baby when they responded to a retail fraud complaint Wednesday night.

Police said Garcia, who is wanted in Texas and Michigan, said, “I will kill this baby, I will break its neck.”

Deputies said they used the TASER after several attempts to extricate the child. Thank God she was not hurt.

Garcia faces charges including unlawful imprisonment, resisting and obstructing police and second-degree child abuse.

This incident just goes to show you that the TASER is a great option for takin’ it to the Bad Guys!

Officer Down…Protecting Our Border

By professor · Saturday, July 25th, 2009 · 1 Comment »

206border_agent_shotsffembeddedprod_affiliate69

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Agent Robert Rosas, who was shot and killed in the line of duty Thursday night.

Rosas was responding to a border incursion in a rugged area of San Diego known as Campo. Authorities said at least one other agent in the field heard gunshots after Rosas left to respond to the call and couldn’t reach Rosas on his radio afterward. Rosas was found dead shortly after by backup Agents.

Evidence at the scene indicates at least one suspect and possibly more had serious injuries, perhaps by gunfire. The FBI is investigating and recently said they have 4 possible suspects who may be responsible. Let’s hope they capture the right suspects and “bring them to justice”. (I know that sounds like our former President, but I fear that Obama may claim Agent Rosas was acting “stupidly” by doing his job , and protecting our borders)

Rosas was the first Border Patrol agent to die in a shooting in more than a decade.

Rosas, a three-year Border Patrol veteran, had a 2-year-old son and an 11-month-old daughter, said Richard Barlow, acting chief patrol agent for the Border Patrol’s San Diego sector.

The death of Rosas  is a vivid reminder that we are engaged in a serious effort to secure our border and that thousands of Border Patrol Agents risk their lives every single day to protect and defend our nation.
